Over the years I have been engaged by executive coaching clients who have been striving hard for something, and yet have struggled to achieve the happiness they were so ardently seeking. In some cases, we explored the concept of acceptance and applied principles and tools from Acceptance and Commitment Coaching (deriving from its therapeutic parent, ACT).
